Autocross Nationals
The Goodguys AutoCross continues to be one of the most popular events at a Goodguys event weekend. With the running of the Duel in Des Moines presented by Optima Batteries at the 26th Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals, the AutoCross hours have been extended so that everyone who wants to participate can run the AutoCross. What’s more fun than running under the lights?
With the Duel in Des Moines running qualifying on Friday from 8 am to noon and 1 pm to 5 pm, and then Saturday 1 pm to 5 pm, Twilight AutoCross has been added to Saturday night from 6 pm to 8 pm. Fun runs only!!
“We brought back the Twilight AutoCross since it was so popular last year. This will be a great addition to the event and we will see how the cooler air makes for fast times, says Ed Capen, VP of Sales and Sponsorship for Goodguys.
Sunday offers up competition runs for the K&N Filters All American Sunday Late Model AutoCrossers from 8 am to 1 pm.
