Indy Indianapolis

Indy / February 13, 2020

Salesforce Tower Indianapolis is open and ready for business! Today, we celebrate the grand opening of our new tower in Indy, the tallest building in the state of Indiana. We’re proud to call Indianapolis home to our largest hub outside of our global headquarters in San Francisco.

We’re celebrating this major milestone today with a family-friendly community celebration and press conference with our Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff, Governor Eric Holcomb, Mayor Joe Hogsett, and special guests at Monument Circle. In true Salesforce style, we're bringing everyone together to enjoy a live concert, BBQ, games, kid-friendly activities, and in honor of Armed Forces Day, we'll have volunteer activities on site including stuffing and packing Battalion Bears and Veteran Care kits to send to our troops abroad.

As we continue our momentum as the world’s fastest-growing top-five enterprise software company, Salesforce Tower Indy will serve as a world-class space for our employees, customers, partners and the community. Similar to our named towers across the globe in New York, London and San Francisco, Indy will feature our Ohana design standards, intertwining residential fits and finishes to make the workspace feel like home. From dedicated mindfulness areas, cafe barista bars to large social lounges for collaboration, our spaces are designed for employees to do the best work of their lives. To top it off, the 47th floor of the building will be an “Ohana Floor” - a fully open, flexible space open to Salesforce employees, customers, partners and the local community, including nonprofits, schools and NGOs for use on evenings and weekends.

Salesforce is committed to growing in Indiana and investing in local workforce development. We’re on track to deliver our earlier promise of 800 jobs in five years and also announced plans to train 500 apprentices right here in Indy by 2020, enabling them to begin new careers in tech.

And as Salesforce grows, so does our ability to positively impact the community. More than 90% of our employees in Indiana volunteer in local public schools and with nonprofits—and in true Salesforce fashion, they’ve pledged to volunteer a total of 200, 000 hours in Indiana by the end of this year!

What truly makes Salesforce a great place to work are the people. Salesforce Tower Indianapolis will bring our #SalesforceOhana culture to life in an inspirational space where everyone can come together to collaborate, innovate, and do the best work of our lives. As one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work for the past nine years, and one of Indiana’s Best Places to Work, we are excited to tap into Indiana’s diverse and local talent pool.

Our Salesforce Indianapolis campus is truly a hub for world-class, diverse and local talent, enabling us to deliver new innovations to our more than 150, 000 customers around the world. It's been an exciting project to envision, design and move into this incredible new Tower, and we hope you visit us soon! Follow the journey at #SalesforceTowerIndy. Mahalo!
